Leibniz Mentoring Network

Networking is a central pillar not just of the Mentoring programme but most and foremost of any career. The Leibniz Mentoring Network offers a platform for addressing the issues of career evolvement and daily leadership routine as well as for professional exchanges across disciplinary boundaries. Activities of the Network offer opportunities to mutually continue one’s studies, to increase and to intensify one’s contacts and to share expertise and skills with others.

Leibniz Annual Reunion and Network Meeting

Once a year, the Leibniz Association invites all alumnae of the Leibniz Mentoring programme to an annual gathering where they can reconnect with members of their own group of mentees as well as get to know colleagues who participated in the programme in other years.

After the constitutive meeting at the Leibniz Institute for Applied Geophysics (LIAG) in March 2017, following network gatherings move around and take place at different Leibniz-Institutes of former Leibniz Mentees. Apart from facilitating professional exchanges and further training, these gatherings thus also offer insight into the sheer scope of fascinating research conducted at Leibniz.
