Researcher (f/m/d)

for a 2-year-fixed-term position with a salary of TV-L E 13 (50%) commencing 1/5/2020 (or later).

Your Profile

  • Qualification (Master's degree or higher) in psychology, cognitive sciences, or neurosciences
  • A solid background in experimental approaches in psychophysiology or neuroimaging or behavioral research (preferably M/EEG, pupillometry, or eye-tracking)
  • Programming experience (preferably MATLAB or Python) and publication activity in international peer-reviewed journals are advantageous
  • Very good written and oral communication skills in English

Your Tasks

  • Design of experiments, data analysis, and publication of results in the field of development of auditory attention and perception (or related fields) from infancy to adulthood

The Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology in Magdeburg is an internationally renowned center for learning and memory research. The research group focuses on the development of attention, memory and perception in typically and atypically developing children. The group is funded by the Center for Behavioral Brain Sciences (CBBS) from the State of Saxony-Anhalt and the European Regional Development Fund (EFRE).
