In addition to an excellent scientific qualification, the successful candidate is expected to have corresponding pedagogical competences and the ability and willingness to teach theoretical or experimental physics in its entire breadth. Skills in science communication and consulting for politicians are to be developed.
The professorship is limited to five years.
