Master thesis: Topic: Genetic and cytological analysis of the Arabidopsis mutant sensitive to heat stress
Leibniz-Institut für Pflanzengenetik und Kulturpflanzenforschung (IPK), Gatersleben
The working group “Applied Chromosome Biology” under the lead of Prof. Hua Jiang explores the genetic and epigenetic regulation in plant reproduction. This project aims to elucidate the mechanism of unreduced gamete formation in Arabidopsis. More specific details can be discussed directly.
In this project, you will use a series of cytological methods to analyze the phenotype of Arabidopsis mutant producing unreduced gametes. You will also identify the candidates by mapped-based cloning.
