The German Institute of Human Nutrition Potsdam-Rehbruecke (DIfE) is a member of the Leibniz association. We invite applications for the department Molecular Epidemiology (Prof. Dr. Matthias Schulze) for
Within the frame of the DZD-funded research, risk factors for the development of type 2 diabetes and associated complications will be evaluated in the population-based EPIC-Potsdam cohort study, including prospectively collected information of the ongoing re-assessment (EPIC-DZD). The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a variety of data (including anthropometry, diet and activity, physical and metabolic function, and cardiovascular and microvascular complications) and to develop own research projects within the translational research of the DZD.
Skills and requirements
The advertised position is available for 2 years with extension available upon mutual agreement. The level of salary will be determined on the basis of standard/tariff conditions, present qualifications and professional experience.
