There is no central application process for Postdoc positions. If you have completed a master’s degree, you can apply directly to a Leibniz Institute that matches your research interests. Another good starting point is our job portal, where the Leibniz institutes also advertise Postdoc vacancies.

The programme is aimed at talented postdocs from all over the world who are keen to take on a professorship or similar academic role. As leaders of a Leibniz Junior Research Group, they are given the opportunity to pursue their own research projects and establish themselves in their field.

This online programme offered by the Leibniz Leadership Academy is aimed at doctoral researchers and postdocs in the Leibniz Institutes who are preparing for their first leadership role. The English-language courses can be completed at your own speed.
