Participation of the Leibniz Association in the German National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI)
The German National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) is intended to systematically open up the currently often decentralised, project-based and temporary data stocks of science and research for the German science system. The NFDI Association was founded in October 2020.
The federal and state governments are providing up to 90 million euros annually from 2019 to 2028 for the development and funding of the NFDI.
