Senate statements
Below you will find all Senate‘s statements in the evaluation process since the beginning of the evaluations by the Leibniz Senate in 2003. Prior to this, the German Council of Science and Humanities (Wissenschaftsrat) adopted statements on the institutions. The statements are published on the Council's website.
The Senate of the Leibniz Association evaluates the Leibniz institutions at regular intervals, after seven years at the latest. The Senate's statements in the evaluation process conclude with a funding recommendation to the Federal and Länder governments, on the basis of which the Joint Science Conference (GWK) verifies whether the requirements for joint institutional funding are still met.
